Ingredients
- 8-10 oz lean ground beef
- 1 pkt La Preferida Taco Seasoning
- 1 (10oz can) La Preferida Diced Tomatoes with Green Chiles
- 1 (16oz can) La Preferida Nacho Cheese Sauce or Mild Cheddar Cheese Sauce
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- 1 small white onion
- olive oil for cooking
- Chips for dipping
- Optional: diced green onion for garnish
Method
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the onion until tender.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned through. Drain excess fat.
In the same skillet, stir in taco seasoning, diced tomatoes with green chiles, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and nacho cheese. Cook, stirring occasionally, until fully melted and smooth.
Serve straight from the skillet with tortilla chips and garnish with sliced green onion, if desired.
