Ingredients
- 15oz can La Preferida Low Sodium Chick Peas, drain and reserve 3 Tbls of liquid
- 15oz can La Preferida Black Beans
- ½ cup quick oats
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ½ cup La Preferida Organic Agave
- 2 Tbls. cocoa powder
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- ½ tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. La Preferida Espresso, ground
- ½ avocado
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips or vegan chocolate
- Optional: 2 Tbls Tapioca Flour for thickness
- Optional: Make it spicy and add 3 tsp. of La Preferida Chipotle Peppers in Adobo
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Combine all ingredients (except for the chocolate chips) in a food processor and blend until completely smooth.
- Stir the chocolate chips into the batter. Then pour into a greased 8×8 pan.
- Cook the black bean brownies 15-18 minutes, then let cool at least 10 minutes before slicing.
